User Agreement, Content Licensing, and Platform Terms for AbhiHub.

1. Acceptable Use Policy
AbhiHub is an academic resource repository created by students for students. By using the platform, you agree to:
- Use the service solely for non-commercial, academic preparation and study purposes.
- Refrain from uploading copyrighted commercial textbooks, paid test-prep material, or illegal content.
- Refrain from automated web scraping, API abuse, denial of service attacks, or bypassing viewing quota controls.
- Maintain respectful conduct across interactive features including direct messaging, memory walls, and discussion comments.
2. Uploads, IP Ownership & Licensing
Contributor Ownership: You retain full copyright ownership of all original study notes, handwritten solutions, and academic resources you upload to AbhiHub.
Non-Exclusive License to AbhiHub: By submitting content to AbhiHub, you grant AbhiHub Technologies a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, index, format, OCR process, publicly display, and distribute the content solely for operating, promoting, and improving the platform.
This license enables AbhiHub to render web previews, generate AI OCR study assists, and present curated study materials to fellow engineering students.
3. DMCA & Copyright Takedown Procedure
AbhiHub respects intellectual property rights and acts promptly upon copyright notices. If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded without authorization, send a notice to our Copyright Agent:

Required Notice Elements:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- URL or exact document ID of the material on AbhiHub.
- Your contact details (Name, Email, Physical Address).
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
4. Credit & View Quota System Terms
AbhiHub operates a view credit mechanism to maintain infrastructure sustainability:
- Initial Quota: Free user accounts start with a default paper viewing quota (e.g. 19 views).
- Credit Purchases: Users may purchase additional view packs (50, 100, or 500 views @ ₹2/view) via
/api/buy-credits. - Non-Refundable Policy: Credit pack purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. View credits represent platform access tokens and have no cash redemption value.
5. Document Accuracy Disclaimer & Liability Limitation
AbhiHub is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Study materials are submitted by student peers; AbhiHub does not guarantee that uploaded notes or solutions are free of academic error or fully aligned with specific university marking schemes.
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, AbhiHub Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from reliance on platform content or service interruptions.
6. Account Termination & Suspension
AbhiHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts immediately, without prior notice, for violations of these terms, copyright infringement, or fraudulent activity.
Users may terminate their account at any time via Delete Account.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms of Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
